“EYES!” You heard it right…..In today’s modern age, having healthy eyes is no less than a blessing. Increasing doom scrolling in children and young adults… to watching series and movies… thanks to Netflix and Hotstar… Isn’t It?
Watching content is of no harm, but how much to watch is within our hands…I am just gonna write what we all know, nothing new…but maybe while reading this, your brain will get more in the alert mode …R U IN ALERT MA’AM/ SIR? BLINK TWICE!!
Yes, that’s the trick…just take breaks in between while using your screen…maybe even try an eye roll…like I do when someone annoys me 🙂 haha…Just kidding…but these minor voluntary muscular actions have a significant influence when seen on a wider scale…just as what we do every day in our daily routines…has a lifelong impact on a large scale… When you wake up in the morning, wash your eyes with cold water, meditate for mental well-being and thought clarity, go for a barefooted lawn walk, eat lots of carrots (a source of vitamin A) and maybe even treat yourself with ant chutney (a very popular dish in Orissa).
Anyways, getting to the point…instilling these simple practices will enhance your overall eye health… It’s high time that we train our eyes in a more natural way…aside from using blue light/UV-protected spectacles…with current technology advancing and screen time increasing, we need to study and progress ourselves for a better life… So just roll up your eyes and look UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT… Keep your eyes healthy since they are the window that allows us to see this beautiful world!
